Eligible individuals can request Membership to Silver Drawing Academy through their local Regional Center. 

✏️ What You’ll Gain in 1 Year

• Step-by-step  learning the fundamentals of character design through short 5 minute lessons with exercises to help you become a better artist. Beginner to Advanced lessons.

• Live  drawing  sessions  weekly. Learn, Sketch, Connect: Interactive Weekly Zoom Sessions with Stephen. Ask questions about lessons you're working on, meet like minded people, network, and make friends all while drawing together. 

• Portfolio  development  guidance for future art careers.

• Build  Confidence  and  Encouragement  though  weekly  Art   Talks  from  Stephen. Listen each week as Stephen talks about thriving in the art industry.

How to Apply Through Your Regional Center

Whether you’re applying through Social Recreation Services or the Self-Determination Program, here’s how to get started:

1️⃣ Contact  your  Service  Coordinator 

2️⃣ Request  enrollment in Silver Drawing Academy’s one-year membership for $299. (Invoice provided upon request)

3️⃣ Wait  for  approval. Once your Service Coordinator lets you know that your request was approved, please have the Service Coordinator email the authorization details to [email protected] . Details should include the following information: 1) the name of your Regional Center, 2) the name of your Financial Management Service (FMS), 3) the name and contact information for your Service Coordinator, 4) the name and personal UCI number assigned to the artist who will be taking the lessons, 5) the email associated with the student. Silver Drawing Academy will generate an invoice for your approved membership to be purchased and we will email the invoice to you and your Service Coordinator.

4️⃣ Silver  Drawing  Academy  Notification You will receive an email  from SDA once the payment is complete.  Please allow 2- 4 weeks for this process. We will send you a link to register and start your 1 year membership.

5️⃣ Set  your  schedule  to  join  weekly  zoom  sessions

How to Apply Through ACE FMS

1️⃣ Your Spending Plan You will want to make sure that Silver Drawing Academy is listed in your spending plan. * Your Independent Facilitator (IF) or Service Coordinator, can assist with gathering required information, organizing details, and preparing Spending Plan updates.

2️⃣ Request enrollment You’ll want to use the add vendor button on your dashboard and search for Silver Drawing Academy. 

3️⃣ Wait for approval. Once you’ve added SDA as a vendor, the ACE FMS approvals team will review the connection. 

4️⃣ Notify Silver Drawing Academy upon approval and start learning.  When the vendor connection is approved, ACE FMS will be able to facilitate payment for services via invoice or purchase request.

5️⃣ Set your schedule to join weekly zoom sessions
