Do you want to be challenged creatively and learn new methods for self improvement?
Do you struggle with:
pushing your poses, making your poses more dynamic, feel you don’t draw fast enough or want to learn how to simplify the model?
Draw with Stephen Silver online as we observe a live model. This two hour session will include timed poses and instruction.
The objective of this class is to understand the importance of drawing quickly, making fast observations, and capturing the model’s gesture and story through guided exercises led by Stephen.
By the end of the class, you will be able to:
• Understand the importance of staying loose.
• Push your shapes and forms.
• Break down your figures using a variety of techniques; including the bow and arrow, drawing through, tornado posing, and the two tilts.
• Use line of action and shape language to tell a visual story.
• Be pushed out of your drawing comfort zone.
• Ask Stephen questions during class.
The session will consist of 30 second,1 minute, 2 minute, 3 minute and 5 minute gesture poses.

PAST SESSIONS TO WATCH
WATCH THE ENTIRE TWO HOUR RECORDED LESSON
Session Date October 14th 2021
Model Haley Schott
If you are unable to attend the event live; you can now watch it with paid access here. The video content will remain available through the Silver Drawing Academy to watch as much as you like. The video cannot be downloaded.
Please note, the first 50 minutes of poses are a little pixelated. However, the gesture and essence of the poses are still discernible.
The benefit of watching this recorded session is the ability to pause. However, I would recommend working at the speeds I set.
